Laptop Screen Repair

Due to the nature of laptop screens, repairing a screen means replacing it. We can fix the screen if any of the following problems is occuring:

• Screen is cracked or shattered
• Screen has horizontal or vertical lines running through it
• Various pixels have stopped working or are creating a spotting effect of color across the screen
• Sections of the screen are darkening or dimming, often a corner slowly spreading to the center
• The screen is dim or black
• The screen is a bright white

Because screen replacement varies so dramatically from computer to computer, we're unable to offer a set price for this service. In many cases, replacement screens cost around $150, but there are models that can be more expensive.  Because of this, we will assess the cost of the new screen before we place the order so that we can make sure it's within an acceptable price range for you.  

In most cases, the cost of labor to replace the screen is $65. In some rare cases, such as computers with touchscreen glass covers, labor can be more expensive due to the process of removing a glass cover being very labor intensive.  In these instances, we charge our hourly rate of $65/hour to a maximum of 3 hours ($195).  In accordance with all of our repair policies, we will not do any repair work without your consent.

Most laptop screen repairs take 4-6 days to complete. We custom order all our screens because there are simply too many laptop models and types of screens for us to keep them all in stock. We want to make sure we get your order right, so we have to remove the old screen before placing the order for the new one. Our goal is to get you up and running as quickly as possible, and part of that pledge is making sure you have all the right parts you need.
